Road Kill Roy Rocking at FinnsEvery Wednesday
Do you remember the last time you heard local original music that was so damn good, you knew that the band would be famous someday? Well, thatâs Road Kill Roy â just take away the famous part (who needs fame anyway?).
Solid vocals, 4-part harmonies, & some of the best acoustic leads you'll hear in the mid atlantic? Yup, thatâs us. RKR is an original roots rock band that blends the bar rockin' style of Cracker and old school Wilco with the tongue in cheek piano pop of The Ben Folds Five.
We play all over Richmond (And occasionally points beyond). Some of our recent performances have included: The CAA basketball Tournament at the Richmond Coliseum, The 17th Street Marketplaceâs âRed, White, and Brew Festivalâ, the City of Richmondâs âShockoe on the Halfshell Oyster Festival,â and Buffalo Wild Wingsâ âHappy Hour Patioâ series. We can easily cater our show to fit any size venue â whether youâre a downtown festival with a monstrous outdoor stage and 5,000 people in attendance, or a cozy little bar that barely fits 50, we'll love you just the same. And if you ask real nice, we'll even toss in a few covers to show that we care.
