The third annual Pink Tie Gala was hosted by River City Charities at the Omni Richmond on Saturday, October 24th. One hundred percent of proceeds for this event benefited the Richmond Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, providing awareness, education, and research for breast cancer in the Richmond area. The event featured food, dancing, a silent auction, dance teams, and a live band.
Popular Richmond faces and businesses at the gala included Bella Rosa, Haley Pontiac-GMC, RichmondMom.com, Downtown Short Pump, Plus 1 Tickets, Styles Group Fitness, Capital Ale House and the Funny Bone. A special guest at the event was Casey Quinlan, the Mighty Mouth of Casey Media, there to promote her new book “Cancer for Christmas.” The Omni was packed with survivors and supporters, all attending to promote breast cancer awareness and to party for the great cause.
