Are you ready? Richmond offers up something to do each and every weekend with another festival for food, music, or art! Here are a few events to look forward to...

May 17 - 19 – Dominion Riverrock: Full of extreme sports, a mud run, jumping dogs, beer, and more! Located at Brown's Island, this is a free event!

May 30 - June 2 – Richmond's 35th Annual Greek Festival at St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral. This is one festival you don't want to miss!

June 2 – Broad Appétit in Downtown Richmond. Featuring tons of mouthwatering Richmond restaurants and tastes of their most popular dishes at cheap prices. Held on West Broad Street between Henry and Adams.

RVA Beard League's 2nd Annual Mid-Atlantic Beard & 'Stache Championships April 24th, 2013 Posted by Heather Dixon

Check out the Canal Club this Saturday for the 2nd Annual Mid-Atlantic Beard & ‘Stache Championships, to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Richmond! Around 200 bearded & 'stached lads, including our own RVA Beard League, will be competing to see who's facial hair is fit for an award!

103.7 The River’s Dash will once again be the Master of Hair-emonies. So check out this awesome event for an even greater cause!

Surviving a Crowded Bar November 15th, 2011 Posted by Paul Bass

Let’s be honest, you suck at navigating through a crowded bar. Always one step forward and seven shoves back. You spill your drink or one is spilled on you and you’ve been walking around all night with a toilet paper streamer glued to your heel. And forget about drowning those blues with a frosty beverage, the bar is so packed you look like a kid trying not to get picked last in gym class. Face it, you need help and I’m just the seasoned bar vet to give it to you.
